Service was fine. Gave clear reasons for charges. Would have given higher rating.... but refuse to for any business that 'buys' 5star reviews (refer photo). So all that means is that their high rating is because people want discounts- undermines the purpose of open reviews...and i no longer belive their current high rating 🤷♂️
Edit: recieved call from someone there asking me to take review down, she apologised and said the marketing team made a mistake and will remove the sign. No idea if they have, so OTY.

Have waited about 5 weeks since my laptop fix to be sure that the problem did not recur. Advanced Computers [Rosedale] were listed as an HP warranty agent and after a couple of days waiting for any kind of response from HP NZ - I decided just to go straight to them.
Karen nailed the problem very quickly as a corrupt MS update - when I had already suspected that it was hardware issue. Overnight fix for a small extra fee, reasonable price and very friendly service. Would confidently engage them again.

Very good service, did a repair and clean/service quickly to save me having to return for pick up. Much appreciated their helpful manner and politeness. Very happy customer, thank you Advanced Computers.

Highly disappointing customer service. Called to ask advice regarding repair vs replace for one of my children's Chromebook which was having a charging issue. Refused to offer even a ball park estimate on what such an issue might cost. Refused to say if this was a common issue that they have dealt with before or something odd. Just kept repeating that it would be $80 to examine the computer and then they would say what it would cost to repair and whether they could do it. Totally unhelpful and uninterested in offering any support. I called a different company who walked me through some of the different scenarios and helped me decide what to do. They got my business, not these guys.

I have used Advanced Computers to repair multiple laptops and mobile phones over the years. They are very easy to deal with, great communication and reasonably priced. They are upfront with their pricing and happy to answer any queries. Would have no issues recommending them to others
