The only awesome sea view restaurant at Takapuna beach. We enjoyed eye fillet hamburgers with bunch of fried chips and fruit smoothies. The price for coffees are more expensive than other restaurants, however smoothies are fresh, and reasonable price.

Dear Team,
On the 2nd of May, my friend and I visited your café to enjoy a coffee and freshly baked croissants, which she typically purchases from your establishment. She recommended that I try one. I bought two croissants—one to consume with my coffee and another to save for later, as I reside in the West.
This morning, upon opening the box, I discovered that it was covered with fungus/mildew on the top surface. Photos attached. Contact me please, maybe you can offer a voucher? So I can delete this review as I cannot drive that far to show you the box :(

How lucky we were to stay next door at the Camper van holiday park and have this gem of a place at our front door!!! Some locals told us about it and wham ~ a home run! Aaron the manager was swift to park us at a perfect perch and from there we had a view of the beach and Rangitoto Volcano…so we ordered a bottle of champagne on ice for when our friends arrived and soon we were celebrating! With oysters on the half shell, scallops and perhaps the BEST Ceasar EVER!!! ….For appetizers then on with the whole baked red snapper and their amazing chicken (which I don’t often get excited about…) that was divine with this crème sauce that had enough garlic to kill a murder of vampires ~ incredible, all of it! And thanks MONY for saving the day and bringing that “Herzog” out… oh my that man knows what he’s doing! My new fav wine maker! And thank you MONY for such amazing service and thinking of asking us if you could reserve a table for us for breakfast the next day, we need it and the breakfast was also over the moon!!! Marie had the crumpet and I the special ~crawfish Benedict… oh my, it’s time to head home and hit the gym!!!

We had a wonderful waitress with amazing service, gorgeous, joyful and very attentive to our needs.
Food was good, I had the eggs benedict. The sauce was tasteless, thats the only negative thing.
View is beautiful, lots of people and ambience, quite noisy but if you enjoy seeing ppl this is the place to come to.

We went to Takapuna Beach Café from Auckland city centre on the recommendation of our Uber driver in Wellington, and we certainly didn’t regret it. The place was packed, but we were lucky enough to get a table. Everything we had was delicious — the granola with buffalo yoghurt, the eggs Benedict on rösti with mushrooms, and the matcha strawberry latte. Despite how busy it was, the service was highly professional and impressively fast. Highly recommended.
